The sacred circle of life turns, a hoop holding the rhythm of Earth and Sky.
In the South, Snake moves close to the ground, shedding skin and teaching renewal, instinct and the wisdom of embodied life. In the East, Eagle rises with the dawn, carrying vision, clarity and the blessing of new beginnings. In the West, Orca and Jaguar guard the descending sun, keepers of the deep waters and the shadow path, guiding us through emotion, mystery and transformation. In the North, Owl sits with the Ancestors, watching in silence, offering insight born of lived experience and the enduring memory of the old ones.
The Medicine Wheel is a map for the soul, guiding us through uncharted territories. Each direction carries its own teaching, yet all are woven within the same circle of life.
This painting is a prayer to walk in right relationship with the cycles of change, to honour the guardians of each quarter, and to remember that we stand always at the centre of a living, turning wheel of Life, propelled by the Love of Spirit.
