Please read the guidelines below to understand when permission is needed, how to request licensing, and how to credit my artwork respectfully.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes — you may use one image on a personal (non-commercial) website or blog with full visible credit:

    “SoulBird Art by Roberta Orpwood – www.soulbirdart.com”

    Please note:

    • The image must not be altered, animated, collaged, or modified in any way.

    • It must not appear on websites or pages with inappropriate or harmful content.

    • Always credit visibly alongside the image.

    • Permission is still required — please contact me before use.

  • Yes - you’re welcome to share images on personal social media posts, stories, or as a profile picture, with clear credit and tagging:

    “SoulBird Art by Roberta Orpwood – @soulbirdart – www.soulbirdart.com”

    Please still request permission first, as not all artworks are available for personal use.
    Donations are welcome and appreciated via PayPal (soulbirdart@hotmail.com) if you feel called to give back for sharing my work.

  • Yes - but only with a full agreement and written permission. Use of my images in any commercial setting, including business websites, services, or social media accounts, requires a licensing agreement and fee.

    This includes:

    • Logos, banners, or backgrounds on business websites

    • Commercial Instagram or Facebook accounts

    • Group or public community platforms used to promote products/services

    To inquire about a license, please email me at soulbirdart@hotmail.com with full details of your intended use.

  • Yes - I offer licensing for existing artworks on:

    • Book covers (self-published or traditional)

    • Oracle or tarot decks

    • Products for sale (e.g. journals, prints)

    Fees typically range from £250–£1500+ depending on the product and scope.

    Please email your proposal to soulbirdart@hotmail.com to discuss licensing options.

  • Yes - if you’re writing a feature, article, or interview about me or SoulBird Art, I’ll provide artwork to accompany the piece free of charge.
    Please contact me in advance so I can supply high-quality images and credit details.

  • Not without permission.
    For use in event posters, flyers, or promotional material (digital or printed), a license agreement is required.
    Fees generally range from £200–£850+ per image, depending on the event’s nature, scale, and audience.

    Please include:

    • Event type (profit/non-profit)

    • Capacity and reach

    • How the image will be used

    Note: You're welcome to share my Instagram posts to your Stories, even from a business account — as long as you include clear credit and tagging.

  • Most likely, Yes - but permission is required.

    Please email me with the specific artwork you’d like to use for a tattoo. If approved, I’ll provide a Tattoo Ticket to share with your artist.
    Acceptance of use depends on the specific art piece.

    Optional: I’d love to see your finished tattoo! You’re welcome to send photos to soulbirdart@hotmail.com

    Just as you pay your tattoo artist, I appreciate a fair exchange for the original design as well.

  • Yes - for in-person lectures or workshops, you're welcome to use my artwork within a presentation or slideshow, provided that:

    • The artwork is not distributed in print or handouts

    • You credit me visibly during its display:

      “SoulBird Art by Roberta Orpwood – www.soulbirdart.com”

    • The content is not resold (e.g. in an online course or digital download)

    If you'd like to use my work in a paid course or printable materials, please contact me to request a license.

  • At this time, I take on limited commissions and creative collaborations on a case-by-case basis.
    If you feel your project is aligned and intuitive, I’d love to hear about it.

  • Without explicit written consent, the following uses are not allowed:

    • Reproduction on business cards, brochures, or advertising materials

    • Inclusion in digital workbooks, online courses, or downloads

    • Use on merchandise or products for resale

    • Any alteration or modification of the image

    • Uploading artwork to AI tools or image generators

    If you're unsure whether your intended use qualifies, please reach out.

    • The image(s) you'd like to use

    • Where and how they’ll be used

    • The duration and context of use

    • Any relevant links or descriptions

    • Your location and business name (if applicable)

    I’ll respond with options, availability, and (if applicable) a quote for licensing.

As a self-employed, professional artist in the UK, I have dedicated years of personal time, energy, and skill to create SoulBird Art. Each piece is made with care and sacred intention. I kindly ask that you honour this by respecting my legal and creative rights.
