There are simply no words to describe how profoundly healing an experience I had through asking for a Shamanic Medicine Painting to be created for me by Roberta.
I had not had any personal experience of shamanic healing before, and did not know what to expect from the distant healing session, but from the beginning Roberta explained everything with such eloquent grace, wisdom, compassion and professional care that I was totally content to let myself be completely open to the process. She held boundaries with skill and reverence. There was no judgment and her gift of sacred communication and story-telling has to be experienced to be believed! The awe-inspiring insights she gave in the recordings post-healing were spot on, truly incredible, spoken Soul to Soul. She bought up things which I’d felt throughout my life but been unable to express or speak about to anyone. It went straight to the heart of me (I remember thinking, she’s really gone to the most important points which need attention!) and my healing included a soul retrieval. This was the only part I had sort of, ‘expected’ but had not asked for or let her know I had felt this need, for there had been shame attached beforehand.
After the distant healing session I experienced an incredibly profound healing and intensely ‘activating’ process which went on for days, actually a few weeks, during which time I felt I could go to Roberta for advice or check in if I needed to. Also I continued to re-listen to the tracks she sent, which are another part of the gift.
The medicine painting is the painting of my dreams, I absolutely adore it! It gives me so much joy and peace. It is like, ‘being in love’ with a work of art.
On opening the package, I wept over it for half an hour as if it was the gift I’d been waiting for my entire life. To be treasured for the rest of my life. It is powerful healing medicine, not to be underestimated. It enfolds my being but also expands potential. It is deeply spiritually beautiful, as all her work is, and full of love and guidance. I feel so unutterably grateful for Roberta’s gifts and I wish I could write a testimony which encompassed this experience and the painting which was born from it, but that is impossible, for no words can convey the Beauty and Sacred Space of this work, and the depth of Love and Peace that holds you as you partake in it.
