Fox walks the thresholds of my world. Each spring, I watch new cubs emerge from their hidden earth near the stream that runs by my home. They are held in the quiet guardianship of our community. I have known them fragile with mange, thin and mistreated, and I have witnessed their return to full health with the help of homeopathic remedies.
Wild, clever, unruly and exquisitely beautiful, Fox belongs to no one, yet brushes close to our human lives. In shamanic lore, Fox is the Trickster, kin to Coyote, shape-shifter and boundary walker, keeper of camouflage and cunning.
