Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
I’ve put together this page especially for Rowan Tree Bookshop, as I would love you to consider stocking a selection of my SoulBird Art greeting cards and fine-art prints.
Totnes and Devon hold a very special place in my heart. I grew up in Dawlish, Devon and worked in Totnes for a number of years, where I also managed ‘Crystals’ at the bottom of town, before eventually moving to London as my path as a shamanic practitioner and visionary artist unfolded.
Many years later, my work now brings together those same threads of Spirit, the natural world and the sacred. Alongside my own SoulBird Art work, I’ve worked internationally as an Oracle Illustrator, with published work including The Tree of Life Oracle, The Crystal Power Tarot and The Ultimate Guide to Chakras, with my oracle deck in the process of being published by Blue Angel Publishing.
I’ve chosen a small selection of paintings for you here that are available, or can be made available, as greeting cards and fine-art prints, along with a little of my published work which may also be of interest to Rowan Tree.

About the Artist
Roberta Orpwood
SoulBird Art
Roberta Orpwood is a Shamanic Medicine Artist of British and South American heritage, a Dreamer, Seer, Healer and internationally published Oracle Illustrator.
Rooted in the rhythms of shamanic living, her work weaves visionary watercolour painting with ritual, ceremony and story medicine. Her paintings emerge through dream and intimate communion with Spirit; each is created as a prayer, with reverence, colour and intention.
For many years Roberta has worked at the meeting place between art and the sacred, creating original visionary paintings alongside illustrations for internationally published oracle, tarot and spiritual titles. Her work has been published by Hay House, CICO Books and Fair Winds Press, with her current body of work increasingly devoted to the Grandmothers and the ancestral, feminine and Earth wisdom they carry.
Through SoulBird Art, her intention remains simple:
Planting conscious seeds of Divine wisdom, one piece of art at a time.
