‘Soul Portrait’ is the name given by Roberta Orpwood to represent a custom original Intuitive painting that is created for those who wish to perceive themselves, their Soul from a new and visual perspective. These paintings can help you connect to your intentions in life for self empowerment, self exploration and healing.
Roberta travels between worlds through a deep meditative process (inspired by Traditional Shamanic journeying methods) to retrieve relevant information about your Soul, making the invisible, ‘visible’. The visions received are often metaphorical and therefore are open to your heart for personal interpretation. The greatest healing stems from your own interpretation of these paintings and can lead to profound positive affects upon your life through, sometimes a series of revelations. There is no prediction of what may occur within the journey and artwork however some examples are colours relating to balancing your Chakra energy centres, Sacred Geometry, messages from Spirit guides/Allies or Totem/Power animals and visuals that can help one bring balance and harmony to the emotions helping to encourage mental well-being.
There are a number of different phases in which the Soul Portrait evolves through, they are as follows: –
– THE INTENTION – (From both the artist and recipient) An Intention is a beam of hope and prayer, mindfully sent out from our hearts to the universe without any expectations. Setting an intention helps to bring clarity and shed light upon the true purpose of what you would like the Soul Portrait Painting to help you with or indeed manifest. It focuses our attention positively towards what we want to achieve, what we hope for or what we would like to heal. The key here is not to become attached to the way in which any outcome will be delivered – when a specific outcome is expressed, you leave no room for the possibility of something even more magical and perfect to take it’s place.
Intention examples: ‘I intend to see, own and become who I really am as fully as possible.’
‘I intend to see beauty in everything, everywhere I go and in whomever I’m with.’
‘My intention is to develop my intuition’
– THE CREATION AND HEALING – The painting is born through the hands of the artist with the help of Sacred Space, Intuition, Spirit Allies, Reiki, Shamanic Dowsing and of course drawing upon the gift of painting and technique. Expectations of both the artist and recipient are left behind, allowing for the perfect outcome to emerge from the page. It is at this stage that you will be sent progress photographs that also hold messages as each stage develops.
– THE SOUL’S INTERACTION – This is the most important phase and one of the most exciting for the recipient. The intentions for the painting by both artist and the receiving Soul play a vital role here. It is encouraged that one places it somewhere where it can be seen on a regular basis so that you can take its beauty into your consciousness. This is exactly where the magic happens! Some like to meditate with it, others like to place it on their Alter to amplify their intention or healing purpose or simply frame it and pop it on your bedroom wall! It is a very personal creation and must be noted that the painting is for no one but the one it was made for. Infused with your Soul it speaks clearly to your heart effortlessly and with ease.
This custom painting is a journey that I am very honored to take and give much gratitude to you, a beautiful Soul, for trusting in my intuition and gift to express my inner and external visions of your Spirit and Soul.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
– 1x Original Watercolour Painting, signed by the Artist
– A Soul Journey Reading – this is the intuitive journey and explanation of the visions seen. This will be sent to you via email after you have witnessed the final image of the painting come to life. This is so you are able to form your own interpretations of the painting before hearing my own intuitive explanation of the journey I took to retrieve the information for your Soul Portrait.
