In November 2015, I took a chance and stepped way out of my comfort zone.  I commissioned a work of art just for me -- at least that is what I thought it would be.  It has turned out to be so very much more... I had seen the artist's work on Facebook and frankly fell in love with it -  all the hidden meanings and the colors and the energy...  The artist maintained excellent communication with me throughout the process, sending emails with the progress on the painting and finally the results of her reading.  I was deeply impressed with the results. The soul portrait is amazing and beautiful, her reading so accurate and full of details that no one else knows about me.  Ten years ago I went to Hawaii on vacation and discovered - really re-discovered a love of the ocean.  I went snorkeling.  The goggles I got to use had prescription lenses and for the first time I could actually see underwater!  I felt at home - part of me in this world and part in the sea, so many colors and textures, fish I had only seen pictures of up to that point, a Moray eel, a shark, many sea turtles, star fish, nautalis - I never wanted to leave.  Those colors and textures are represented in the soul portrait along with my angels, birds, crystals, feathers and shells -- all very important symbols to me.  There are many messages in the portrait, the most important one right now is written out clearly "Remember'. I was given instructions on how to heal, something I had been searching for and the reason for commissioning the work.  I heeded those instructions and I am healing very quickly.  Recently had surgery and for the first time I was not afraid and, yes, I am healing very rapidly.   I continue to re-read the emails and use the portrait daily as a reminder to "Remember"  I am remembering, healing, thriving and eager to continue learning on this journey.  So very grateful I stepped out of the old and into the present!  Thank you, Roberta, for such an amazing and on-going experience!  Blessings,  Mary Burge Wilson

I am in awe with what just arrived in my inbox. I felt drawn to get a soul portrait done by SoulBird Art by Roberta Orpwood. Roberta just works off a recent photo and tunes into your soul's energy and then paints whatever comes through. I didn't tell her anything and what has appeared is so ridiculously spot on I couldn't stop laughing (and crying!) when it arrived.
